Our first few days in Darwin have been busy ones getting our van fixed and catching up on some cleaning.
We were very fortunate to be directed to 2 great tradies - George, gas plumber, who was able to locate the source of our gas leak, fix it and re-certify our van to ensure everything safe to go again. The problem wasn't a crack in pipe but rather a loose fitting that he believes has probably been like that since installation so we've been very lucky!
Damien, auto electrician, was also a godsend. He too came to us onsite at the van park and found that the van battery charger had been damaged and required replacement. We also put in a new battery whilst we were at it as there was a damaged cell. Ahh everything working properly again....
Rob also spent hours cleaning the red dust off the van and car whilst I cleaned inside (ok I laid by the pool).
Yesterday was a trip into the city centre to have the car serviced and spend some time renewing our love of Darwin. Such a beautiful spot.
And the in the afternoon the spot to be is Mindil Beach markets. Just love the foods and the beautiful sunset over the water - magic. Oh and don't forget the opportunity to touch a crocodile - very cute at that size and felt just like my wallet.
